About:

Brittany (Klein) Flath most recently coached in the Bay Area where she strived to develop individual players and facilitate team growth at the youth level. In addition to coaching, she has served as an Advisor to NCAA collegiate student-athletes at the University setting.

As a former Santa Clara University Bronco, women’s professional soccer player (WPS), U.S. Youth National Team member, and Senior U.S. National Team Pool member, Brittany has a wealth of experience, insight, and knowledge to pass along to youth players. She was known for her technical ability and tactical awareness and these are highlighted in her coaching style as well. She understands the work it takes to further one’s soccer development and the goal-setting process and journey one takes towards their short-term goals and college dreams. She has worked with all age groups and most recently has focused on the younger age group’s development.

Brittany is excited to work alongside a staff at Surf who share the goal to develop outstanding youth soccer players and young people who also make positive impact in all aspects of life, beyond the soccer field. Born and raised in southern California, some of her favorite youth soccer memories as a player are at the Polo Fields– Brittany is excited to coach close to her soccer roots.
